Hi, I’m Chris Honor and I have a passion for helping aspiring athletes just like you to become fitter, faster and stronger mentally and physically, to optimise your true potential.
I have been coaching for over 21 years and have worked with people wanting to lose weight, move better and become better technically within their sport.
I have also spent 8 years active service in the Armed Forces as a Combat Medical Technician including tours of Iraq and Cyprus. Working in the A and E department and Ambulance response team presented me with a number of challenges working both individually and part of a team in life and death situations.
During my Army career I would regularly compete in the Army Medical services cross country championships and represent my regiments at Football and Rugby League.
To date, I have had the privilege to work for top professional clubs such as Bradford Bulls RLFC, Burnley FC, Leicester City FC and Cambridge United FC to name just a few. I also work with grass roots, professional and International athletes in a 1 to 1 and small group capacity.
In 2017, I lead the Rochdale Fit schools programme in partnership with Rochdale Hornets Rugby Foundation where over 2500 children were tested over a 12 month period and we noticed an 8% rise in performance during this project.
Currently, I am studying my Level 4 in Strength and Conditioning and also a Diploma in Biomechanics which will help me to help you move better and with reduced risk of injury and help extend your athletic career
By continually developing my trade allows me to provide you with up to date training methods that are scientifically proven and give you the highest standard of coaching that you deserve.
